This policy explains what information Yourcountant collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Yourcountant is provided by Conversingai.
What we collect
• The shop records you enter — sales, expenses, stock items and prices, and debts (including any customer names or phone numbers you choose to add). • Your account and contact details — full name, shop name, phone, location, address and (if you sign in) your email. • Basic technical information needed to run the app (for example, your language and currency).
Where your data is kept
Your records are stored first on your own device, so the app works offline. If you sign in for cloud backup, a copy is stored securely in our cloud database, protected so that only your account can read or change it.
AI assistant (Bukipa)
When you ask Bukipa a question or upload a document (photo, PDF or text), the information needed to answer — a summary of your figures, or the document you uploaded — is sent to our AI provider to generate the response. Providers process this only to return an answer and under their own terms. We do not sell your data or use your records to train AI models.
How we use your information
To provide the app and its features, to back up and restore your records when you sign in, to give you support, and to keep the service secure and working well.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the app work — our secure cloud host and our AI providers — and only as needed to deliver the features you use, or where the law requires.
Your choices
You can view and edit your details any time in Shop Admin, export a backup of your data, and clear all data from your device. If you have a cloud account and want it deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
Security & retention
We use access controls and encryption in transit to protect your data. We keep your records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service; you may ask us to delete them.
Children
Yourcountant is a business tool intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children.
